Brain Map Comparison

PRE vs. Post Treatment Brain Map comparisons

Clinical Case: An 8 year old female with severe ADHD

PRETREATMENT: Red indicates excessive brain wave abnormalities, causing ADHD symptoms. Green indicates where, and in what frequencies, there is balance as compared to the standard for 8 year olds. This is also indicated by the 3-D analysis, which indicates abnormalities in red, normal areas in white. The patient was on no medication at pretreatment.

POST-TREATMENT (after 18 sessions over an 11 week period): There is a significant change in the post-treatment brain map as indicated by the elimination of power abnormalities (indicated by the absence of red) and a return of brain wave balance (as indicated by green). The 3-D analysis also reveals a normal balance of brain wave activity after treatment. The patient was on no medication at post-treatment and her school performance and behavior significantly improved.
